Florida quail hunting, a review of the facts
Nowadays the quail population has diminished in Florida due to the growing population of people who have encroached on their natural habitat and the increase in the feral cat population. In fact, the quail population has decreased by about 70 percent. One solution to help preserve the quail population and help hunters has been the development of the idea of a quail plantation in Florida. Quail hunting on public land is very unproductive now. Many hunters now feel that going to a quail hunt club in Florida is the only way to hunt quail now.
