We chose a company that offered moving storage containers that would also store the thing, if we needed. It was brought to our door. The box was steel and had a big lock. We slowly moved everything from the rooms in the construction zone to the storage container. It was in our backyard and we thought it could stay there the whole time the house was being remodeled.
